Full apartment crown molding restoration and new baseboard installation in a classic pre-war co-op.
The Challenge
Matching three different existing crown profiles across eight rooms while dealing with 10-foot ceilings and plaster walls that couldn't take heavy fasteners.
Our Approach
Combination of restored original pieces and new runs milled to match. We used construction adhesive with pin nails into backing blocks rather than driving into the fragile plaster. All joints were coped, never mitered.
